Ingredients for cherry pie
rice: 4 cups
zero-trans frying oil in the necessary amount
Minced meat 250 grams
Half a kilo of cherries
1 medium onion

How to prepare cherry pilaf
First, we separate the stems of the cherries and remove their cores, pour sugar over them, and let it cook slowly over low heat.
The amount of sugar depends on your taste, if you like it sweeter, add more sugar and if you like it more sour, add less sugar. Grate the onion in the minced meat and add some salt, pepper and turmeric to it and mix it, then make it into small meatballs and fry it with a little oil. When they are fried a little, put some cinnamon on it. We sprinkle it and after a minute or two we remove the meatballs from the heat.
We also drain the rice and then put potatoes or bread on the bottom of the desired pot, pour some natural liquid oil and a little of the cherry syrup that we have prepared. Then we pour a layer of rice, a quantity of meatballs and a quantity of cherries (without water) and continue until all the ingredients are used up.
Then pour two or three spoons of the syrup on the rice and put it on the gas stove with medium heat until the rice steams. After it steams, pour half a cup of the syrup on the rice, reduce the heat and leave it to infuse. You can use pistachio and almond slices to decorate.
